Root Cuttings
First time offered in 14 years! Root cuttings will be available for shipment is March 2010 till Mid April. This is true clone material that bypasses the need for lights and green houses. The Chinese have historically use root cutting successfully for centuries. These root cuttings are intended for my personal use, but I will have excess. I will start lifting these tress in March and processing them for planting spring 2010. Because of their large size, they can be planted directly into the field or started out in pots. The most important note about root cuttings is to wait till the soils have warmed up in the spring and the soil is well drain. Otherwise, rot may develop before sprouting can occur. We will not know what our inventory will be till all the tress are processed. Late orders maybe refunded due to lack of supplies. So, place you orders early to secure a shipment. Orders will be honored by date. No root cuttings available for Shan-tong Paulownia. |
