About Us & Our Seed

We are a small company centered around helping you get started in the Paulownia industry through selling seed. We started back in 1988 establishing our own plantation and now have over 20 years of personal experience to share. We have literally germinated and raised tens of thousands of seed to seedlings and have sold thousands of greenhouse seedlings, dormant seedlings, and root cuttings to others. Our seed allow for the genetic variance. Our seed are sold world wide. Clone performance is highly tied into the climate and soil conditions. Good clone performance at one location does not necessary mean good performance elsewhere! High-density plantings with genetic variance allows natural selection of the best performers for a given site.

Our seed comes from two sources. One source is select local trees and the second is from other 3rd party sources aboard, including China! They are placed in cold, dry storage to maintain a high germination rate. We have found a lost of about 10% in vital seed each year stored in this manner.
